This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site and have no affiliation with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts, the Court of Common Pleas, the Cincinnati Municipal Court, or any Ohio government agency. We cannot pull official documents, file paperwork, or issue certified copies for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Here is where to look for the records most people ask about in Hamilton County:

Hamilton County Clerk of Courts

The Hamilton County Clerk of Courts is the official custodian of Common Pleas civil and criminal case records. The office is located in the Hamilton County Courthouse in downtown Cincinnati. Staff can answer questions about case file requests, certified copy fees, and how to access court documents in person or by mail.

This is the government office you need. We are not that office. Calls and record requests should go directly to them, not to us.

Municipal Criminal and Traffic Records

Misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic citations, and small claims filed in Cincinnati Municipal Court are handled separately from the Common Pleas Clerk. The Justice Center houses the Municipal Court clerk's office. If your case was heard in Municipal Court rather than Common Pleas, this is the office to contact.
